This Privacy Policy describes how Racing Crew collects, uses and protects the personal data of users who visit the website racingcrew.it or interact with us through our contact channels (WhatsApp, email, Instagram).
The data controller is Racing Crew. For any request regarding your data, you can contact us directly via WhatsApp or email.
1. Data collected
The Racing Crew website is a static site. It does not use proprietary tracking systems, does not install profiling cookies and does not automatically collect personal data during normal browsing.
Personal data may be collected in the following cases:
- Newsletter form: email address, voluntarily provided by the user.
- WhatsApp / email contact: name, phone number, email address and any other information the user chooses to share in the message.
- Track day booking: data entered on the external booking portal is subject to that service's privacy policy. Racing Crew has no direct access to payment data.
2. Cookies and third-party services
The site uses the following third-party services that may install technical or functional cookies:
- Google Fonts - for loading typographic fonts. May log the user's IP address. Google Privacy Policy.
- Tailwind CSS CDN (jsDelivr / cdnjs) - for loading the CSS framework.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other advertising tracking systems.
3. Purpose of processing
Any personal data collected is used exclusively for:
- Responding to information and booking requests.
- Sending the newsletter (only if explicitly requested).
- Managing track day organisation.
Your data is not shared with third parties, is not sold and is not used for unsolicited marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis
Data processing is based on the data subject's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for the newsletter, and on performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for bookings.
5. Data retention
Data is retained for the minimum time necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and in any case no longer than 2 years from the last contact, unless otherwise required by law.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), you have the right to:
- Access your personal data in our possession.
- Request the rectification or erasure of your data.
- Object to processing or request its restriction.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
