Participating
No. Racing Crew track days are open to all levels, from absolute first-timers to experienced riders. We organise groups by actual level, not ego. The crew has riders from 20 to 50 years old: the track doesn't care about your age. If it's your first time on track, we'll pair you with experienced crew riders who will give you the basic reference points before you go out.
Any road-homologated bike: from 600 supersport to 1000 superbike, including naked and hypermotard models if circuit regulations allow. The important thing is that the bike is in good mechanical condition and passes the pre-track check (fluids, brakes, tyres, mirrors removed). If you're not sure your bike qualifies, message us first: we'll tell you straight away.
Absolutely yes. Most people come on their own the first time - that's exactly why the crew exists. Someone will welcome you in the pits, you'll be shown around the paddock and you'll have a point of contact for the whole day. You arrive alone, you leave as part of something.
It depends on the specific circuit regulations. Some circuits allow minors with written parental consent, others do not. Contact us before booking: we will check the conditions of the circuit you're interested in together.
Typically 5-6 sessions of 20 minutes each, spread throughout the day (approximately 09:00-18:00). Exact timings depend on the circuit and number of groups. You'll find all the specific information in each event's card on the calendar.
Yes, message us. It's not a structured service, but something between friends: if it's possible and makes sense route-wise, we're happy to make a detour to pick you and your bike up. Message us on WhatsApp before the event and we'll figure it out.

Equipment
You need a full leather suit (one-piece or two-piece with approved connecting zip). Textile suits are not allowed on track, even if road-approved. If you don't have a leather suit, you can hire one: contact us and we'll point you in the right direction. Gloves, over-the-ankle boots and a back protector are also required.
Yes, an approved helmet (ECE 22.06 or higher) is accepted. We recommend a full-face helmet: motard or open-face helmets are not allowed on track. If your helmet is more than 5 years old or has been in an impact, consider replacing it before the track day.
Road tyres are allowed, but we recommend fitting track tyres (or at least high-performance sports tyres) to get the most out of the day and stay safe. The most popular in the crew are Pirelli Supercorsa SC2 and Michelin Power Cup 2. In the Track Wiki you'll find the recommended pressures for each tyre.
Beyond a bike in good condition: a digital tyre gauge (essential for tyre pressures), tape to cover headlights and indicators, a rear paddock stand if you have one. If you choose the shared pit box setup, most of the basic equipment is already in the Racing Crew pit: we'll tell you exactly what's there when you confirm your booking.

Booking
Booking works in two ways. If you choose the spot in the shared pit box setup, a WhatsApp chat with us opens: message us and we'll book your spot together - we'll ask for the information we need and confirm availability. If you choose the track day only option instead, you'll be redirected to an external booking portal where you pay the deposit to hold your spot. In both cases the balance is paid in the pit on the day of the event.
Booking an event means making a financial commitment to the organiser, who has already reserved your spot and incurred organisational costs. Cancellation without financial consequences is not possible, but always message us on WhatsApp: we'll find a solution together. Every situation is different and we're people, not a machine.
Yes, you can transfer your spot to another rider up to 48 hours before the event. Message us on WhatsApp with the name and details of the rider who will replace you: we'll handle the change.
In case of bad weather, the circuit organiser's conditions apply. The outcome varies depending on the type of insurance cover you have chosen: rain insurance and date insurance follow different rules for refunds or postponements. It's important to let us know on WhatsApp which cover you have, so we're aligned. If you're not sure which is best for your event, ask us before booking: we'll explain it.

Shared pit box setup
The Racing Crew pit is a shared space among riders who choose this option. It includes: reserved bike space (paddock stand not included, bring your own), basic pit equipment (tyre gauges, common tools), full safety briefing and technical support throughout the day. It's the right choice if you want to be fully inside the crew, not just ride.
With the track day only option you buy a spot in the track sessions with the crew, but you manage your own pit (or don't have one). No dedicated technical support on the ground: you participate in sessions with less assistance. It's the choice for those who already have their own support setup or who simply want to ride without committing to the full package. The pit box setup is always recommended for those coming alone or wanting to improve technically.
The number of riders in the pit depends on the size of the space assigned to us by the circuit and varies between 6 and 10 riders per day. In any case, it's designed to be a cohesive environment: everyone has their own space and can work on their bike without being on top of each other.

Safety
The track is objectively safer than the open road: no cars, no intersections, no unpredictability. The risk exists and is inherent in motorcycling, but it is controlled. All the circuits we operate at have medical personnel on site, approved barriers and run-off areas. We add: groups split by level (less traffic and fewer surprises), a full safety briefing before going out, and for first-timers, the option to do a few laps with an experienced crew rider to learn the basic lines.
Road liability insurance does not cover track events. We recommend taking out a track day policy (rider injury and, optionally, bike damage). There are specific, very affordable products available: at the time of booking we'll point you to the ones most used in the crew. It can't be arranged online, but if the circuit offers it you can sign up directly on the day of the track day. It's worth the peace of mind.
Circuits have medical cover on site: race direction, ambulance and emergency personnel. In the event of a minor crash, the session gets a yellow or red flag depending on the severity. In the pit you'll always find someone from the crew, who will do everything possible to get you back on track as quickly as possible if the bike allows and you want to. The important thing is not to take the bike out again before it has been checked: a broken component can be invisible but dangerous.

The crew
Come to a track day. There is no admission procedure, no test, no membership fee. If you come on track with us and you fit in, you're in the crew. Full stop. Over time you'll find yourself in the WhatsApp group, at post-track dinners and on away trips. It's been like this since 2022.
Sometimes yes, but it's not a structured thing: it's something between friends that comes together every now and then. So far we've been to Valencia. If something comes up, we announce it in the crew's WhatsApp group.
We don't do formal coaching: there are riding schools for that, and if you're interested we can point you to the best in the field. What we're happy to do is ride together, show you the lines and give you informal feedback on your riding. Just ask - it's part of the crew's DNA.
Yes: follow us on Instagram @racingcrewitalia for photos, post-session reels and seasonal updates. After your first track day, you'll be added to the internal WhatsApp group where dates come out early, logistics details are shared and technical discussions happen between riders.
